Mistral bridges gaps between stakeholders, planning artifacts, and documentation in the planning phases of digital interlocking projects. It converts planning documents (e.g., Excel files or proprietary formats) into a unified project topology and parameter repository. Its current main focus is the configuration of central Interlocking logic on the basis of classical German planning documents.

Signalling Plan Support
Modular and extensible for digital and non-digital input formats in your market. Support for traditional German planning documents out-of-the-box. Just upload your ZIP-archive and we will recognize and show available information on the different stations.
Validation
We can find and highlight numerous types of errors in your input. Every step is checked for correctness. Only valid configurations will be exported.
Visualization
Automatically generated and updated topology views, computationally extracted from the PT1 data so you can follow along with any topology updates.
Parameter Editing
Fill in missing information that is necessary for your system configuration. Edit operations are highly constrained to limit human error in a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Configuration Output
Export the interlocking configuration in the format your system needs. By default we use an extended railML-like XML but we can customize the output to your needs.
Traceability
You can always see which source files (checksums) were used to produce the configuration and what was edited. Also when exporting intermediate results to resume work somewhere else.
